Celebrate Hispanic Heritage at William Trent House Museum with People & Stories/Gente y Cuentos - Literature, Poetry, Discussion and Writing!
Come join us at the 1719 William Trent House Museum as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage!
Starting on Saturday, April 11 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 1:30 p.m. and continuing each week - enjoy 8 weeks of Spanish-language short stories, poems, and discussion - meet neighbors and make new friends!
It's free and unlike anything you've experienced before! Bring your friends and make new ones!
Join us for a 90-minute "magical experience" in Spanish that may change the way you look at yourself and others.
Listen or read along each week with a short story & poem written by Latin American authors read aloud in Spanish by talented P&S/GyC Coordinator Maria. Enjoy lively and interesting discussion and writing prompts with each reading.
All are welcome - ages 14 and up. In-city transportation may be arranged if needed.
Refreshments and all materials provided, including certificates of completion and a select book of Spanish-language short stories presented at the concluding session to those who attend at least five sessions.
