Spring 2026, acclaimed filmmaker Nate Reininga visited several People & Stories/Gente y Cuentos sites, speaking with participants, coordinators, and community partners while exploring our unique literary humanities methodology in action.

This feature is especially meaningful because NJPBS' State of the Arts first profiled People & Stories/Gente y Cuentos ten years ago. Returning a decade later offers an opportunity to share the ongoing impact of our work and the voices of the individuals and communities we are privileged to serve.
