From
its genesis in a Cambridge, Massachusetts housing project 33 years ago,
People & Stories / Gente y Cuentos has developed a long reach. Its
programs touch participants from El Cerrito, California, to Somerville,
New Jersey, extending into adult basic education centers, libraries,
senior centers, homeless shelters, drug rehabilitation programs, prisons,
neighborhood clubs, day care centers and youth corps facilities. This list
represents the spectrum of current and very recent projects.
