pre-packaged, award-winning program in Spanish and/or English to new
library audiences

new audiences to discover the life-transforming power of literature

a mini grant for $800 per series

Receive
partial travel reimbursement to attend training workshop
Project
Requirements
Once grant is awarded,
participants are required to:
-
Attend
one training workshop (15 hours) at either of the following sites:
-
Boston,
MA, in conjunction with ALA midwinter meeting, January 2005 or
-
Seattle,
WA,
February 4-5, 2005.

Implement
two eight-week literature series for 12 - 20 people either in your
library or in collaboration with a community outreach program.
